Brief Summary of Main Points: We start with the recognition of the diametric opposition between the Western Eurocentric Worldview (which claims that all useful knowledge was created in Europe) and the Islamic Worldview (which makes the same claim about Islamic teachings). Muslims are placed in the difficulty that our heart and faith commit us to the Islamic worldview, but looking at the world around us, we cannot deny the power and global influence of Western knowledge. This lecture explains how we can resolve this conflict between the head and the heart.
